IBM’s developerWorks now has IBMi representation on their site as reported by Steve Will (IBMi Chief Architect) on his blog.  This is great because even us RPG programmer need to feel some love every once in awhile.  They were nice enough to let me write an article about OpenRPGUI, and this time around I pursued something that has been on my mind for awhile, and that is how we need to find a new mechanism for documentation of the RPG language.  I have been using PHP on and off for the past several years and

admire their mechanism for conveying the languages documentation and letting the community comment on it at the same time on the same web page.  I thought in my head “why can’t we do something like that”?  So I created a first round application conveying an idea of how we could do documentation.  You can read all about it here.

What could we do to take that RPG API Documentation application further?  Post suggestions here or at the bottom of the article page.
